As the Founder of Avid Realty Partners in 2015, Craig Berger has been an active real estate investor for over 15 years deploying capital across Multifamily, Industrial, Net Lease and other assets. Craig has assembled a topflight management team with a diversity of real estate experience. He leads Avid’s deal sourcing, underwriting, and fund-raising activities.
Craig spent more than a decade as a highly acclaimed semiconductor equity research analyst at Smith Barney Citigroup and FBR Capital Markets. He supported leading hedge and mutual fund clients, won multiple awards, and was one of CNBC’s go-to semiconductor market experts with over 75 TV appearances. He also worked at Intel Corporation in CPU & Capital departments. Spending finance groups, overseeing accounting, forecasting cycles, and maximizing cash return metrics. Craig has consulted for technology startups providing market strategies, financial operations and capital fundraising roles. He has been an Angel Investor in various startups including Thirstie.com and BioIQ.com.
Avid’s portfolio has experienced a high rate of growth in recent years with acquisitions of over 1,850 apartments and hotel doors, and net lease assets. Avid continues to focus on value-add opportunities in sunbelt metro markets characterized by high growth rates.
Craig earned both a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting, and a Masters of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered CPA and holds a CFA license.
Craig and his wife reside in New York City. They enjoy spending time with family, enjoying live music, NYC’s culinary scene, traveling, scuba diving, and motorcycle riding.

As President, James’ responsibilities include overseeing asset & property management, corporate structure, portfolio strategy, and helping to build a best-in-class organization. James enjoys being “hands on” at Avid Realty Partners, and is committed to being involved with every project at every stage.
James has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry holding several senior management positions at investment companies, investment banks, and financial institutions. He has been responsible for asset & property management, development, financial analysis, investor relations, and portfolio strategy. It was through these experiences that James developed a deep understanding of how to effectively maximize property operations, anticipate and manage down cycles, formulate portfolio strategies, and meet investor reporting needs.
With the recent growth Avid has experienced, James believes that Avid’s trajectory is due to an emphasis on earning the trust of investors and delivering consistent results. “Our success is dependent on direct communication with each of our partners and intense focus on achieving the pro forma cash flow for each property.” James says.
James holds a Bachelors of Arts in Economics from Duke University and earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
James and his wife have one son Blake, and live south of Salt Lake City, Utah. They enjoy Utah’s year-round mountain sports; biking, hiking and skiing.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jim’s responsibilities include overseeing Avid’s operations, capital raising, capital raising, IT and helping to build a best-in-class organization.
Jim brings 25 years of corporate experience working for diverse firms including a Fortune 500 company, a Private Equity firm and a Real Estate Investment group. Over the past 15 years, Jim has held senior management roles responsible for P&L, staffing and human resources, real estate, legal, capital raising and investor relations.
With a proven track record of overseeing high growth operations, Jim believes that expansion comes from surrounding yourself with passionate individuals that believe in a common goal. That goal is taking care of customers and investors by making connections that result in mutually beneficial relationships.
In Avid Jim truly believes he has found a like-minded team that is ready to build on the tremendous success the Firm has already seen. This is unique blend of keen analytics in underwriting, rigorous performance at the property level, and an unwavering integrity towards our investors, residents, employees and partners.
Jim holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Business Administration from The State University of New York. He is a FINRA Registered Representative, and has his Series 63 and 22 Licenses.
Jim and his wife live in Boston with their two sons, Finn is significantly better than him at golf, while Liam skis circles around him every winter. Really though, he and Karen enjoy all outdoor activities and traveling as a family.
Mary Tucker

As Chief Financial Officer, Mary’s primary role is to oversee property and partnership accounting, corporate accounting & finance, human resources and risk management. She supports the Avid team by providing transformational leadership and team coaching.
Mary brings over 16 years of conventional and affordable multifamily experience including tax credit development projects. She has specialized in accounting and financial operations of construction, development, nonprofit and property management companies. Mary is an expert in creating and implementing SOPs and KPIs. In addition to her experience in the real estate field, Mary has provided consulting services to non-profit organizations including board development training, non-profit real estate development joint ventures, organizational structure and financial reporting.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Ohio University. She is pursuing a doctoral degree from Liberty University in Strategic Leadership with an expected completion in 2023.
Mary and her husband have two sons, Mike and Jordan, and reside in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys golfing with her husband, and is active in her local LPGA amateur league.

As Chief Acquisitions Officer, Luis responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting multifamily and other commercial real estate deals. He regularly reviews thousands of opportunities per year, and is a true expert in modeling, analytics, and using various demographic data to assess long-term value. In addition to underwriting, Luis regularly supports company’s C-Team by assisting with financial analysis, asset management duties, equity sourcing, and a variety of other ad hoc tasks.
Luis brings a diverse background and capabilities. Previously, he worked in the nuclear industry with a leading engineering role in the construction of the next generation of nuclear power plants in the US. As an engineer, he was tasked to solve day-to-day design construction related issues during manufacturing. He later worked as a construction and project manager in several ground-up residential and commercial real estate projects. Having found a passion for the business side of the real estate industry he decided to further his education with an MBA. At Avid Realty Partners, Luis is able to combine his engineering curiosity and problem-solving skills with business analytics.
Luis obtained his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Masters of Business Administration in finance from Nicholls State University.
Luis currently resides with his finance in Toronto Ontario. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, exercising, reading, playing guitar and exploring Canada.
Jeff Feldman

Jeff Feldman
Multifamily Operations & Asset Management, Avid Realty Partners
Jeff is part of the operations and asset management team and wears many hats including overseeing renovations, maintenance operations, regulatory compliance, tenant relations and staff training.
Jeff along with Craig Berger, purchased three multifamily properties and a small portfolio of single-family homes totaling over 300 units in St. Louis, MO. The team has improved and renovated these properties, repositioned the assets, and increased the cash flow while improving the living experience of our 500+ residents. Jeff brings over 9 years’ experience in residential brokerage and property management.
Jeff obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration with focus on finance from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, teaching skiing part-time in the winter, swimming, and playing golf.
Omar Moreno

Omar Moreno
Senior Acquisition Analyst, Avid Realty Partners
As a key member of the Acquisitions Team, Omar is responsible for sourcing and underwriting multifamily and commercial real estate deals. His analytical skills, adaptability, discipline, and attention to detail enable topflight execution in sourcing new opportunity. With the recent growth Avid has experienced, Omar has sourced and underwritten hundreds of real estate deals.
Omar has over 17 years of corporate experience working at financial service firms Including Banco Multiva, IXE-Banco (Banorte Banco), Banco Stander Mexico, and Financiamiento Integral. In addition, he was a Senior Account Manager for Grupo Modelo (AB-InBev) where he managed a $94 million lease portfolio.
Omar graduated from the Universidad de las Americas, AC where he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He also has an online business management specialization from Harvard Business School.
Omar lives in Queretario, Mexico. He enjoys reading, Mediation, travel and sports. He also works with local NGOs to fight poverty and scarcity in Mexico.
